POSITION SUMMARY :
Supervises and controls flow of linens throughout department.
HOURS : Sunday 6A-P / Monday-Thursday 2P-P. Off Friday and Saturday. Holidays as they fall on the days to work. Schedule is negotiable, but must work 1 weekend day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties :
- Supervise and control flow of linens throughout the department.
- Establishes goals, objectives and priorities for day shift.
- Records all linen issues on inventory sheets.
- Prepares monthly usage reports.
- Participates in the orientation, training and guidance of laundry personnel under his / her direction.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS : The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above :
- Do evaluations, counseling and disciplinary actions for laundry personnel.
- Prepare timesheets.
- Record all linen usage and prepare monthly reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- HS diploma or equivalent (GED) Five years laundry experience
- A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.
e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program.
