We have immediate openings for Maintenance Electricians on all shifts in our fast-growing manufacturing facilities in the Kentwood area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Performs complex troubleshooting of electrical issues and equipment.
- Plans electrical layouts for updates on machinery.
- Calibrates and repairs control systems and process circuits.
- Installs large equipment, components, and systems using both internal and external resources.
- Assesses and communicates electrical requirements for the plant to leadership.
- Recognizes safety hazards on equipment in the plant and initiates corrective actions.
- Follows lockout procedures and plant safety rules.
- Operates cutting torch and welder as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Understanding of basic electrical
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience working in the manufacturing environment is a plus
