Moodyand Associates Inc. (Moody) is seeking a senior level civilengineer to be a member of our growing Civil Engineering practicewhere we are working to create land development plans for ourcommercial institutional municipal and energy clients.
Thisposition would have many responsibilities that include themanagement and design related to technicalactivities.

JobPurpose What the position willdo :
- Managetasks on multiple projects in accordance with Moodys high standardsof projectmanagement.
- Manageand assisting with the development of proposals including scope ofservices and cost estimates forprojects.
- Manageand assisting with the development and presentation ofqualifications.
- Developplanning and managing the activities associated with severalprojects that include custom applications and nonconformances.
Thisincludes developing and maintaining project plans risk registerserror budgetsetc.
- Communicateand coordinate project plans with the broader interdepartmentalteam to ensure successful product launch andsupport.
- Responsiblefor ongoing overall Project Monitoring and Control includingProject Cost Control Forecasting Schedule updates andReporting.
- Communicateproject status and key product features to internal team membersandcustomers.
- Coordinatewith owners architects inspectors engineers internal team membersand subcontractors throughout duration ofprojects.
- Clarifydesign issues and reviewRFIs.
- Mentoringand managing staff at alllevels.
- Processsubmittals and update submittallog.
- Assistwith meeting minutes for onsite and ownermeetings.
- Maintainmost up to date project documentation and communicate changes toappropriateparties.
- Assistwith preparation of changeorders.
- Assistin the development of engineering department annualbudget.
- Trackproject progress and budget providing regular updates to ExecutiveTeammembers.
- Obtainrequired project permitting and assist with other preconstructionitems.
- Prepareand submit project closeoutdocuments.

- Abilityto investigate and apply diverse engineering principles todetermine optimal and practicalsolutions.
- Abilityto lead multiple projectssimultaneously.
- Anindividual with strong problem resolutionabilities.
Requirements :
- Qualifiedcandidates will have at a minimum a Bachelor of Science in CivilEngineering or relatedfield.
- Professionalengineering license in PA is a minimum requirement. Additionalstate licensures would behelpful.
- 10years of civil engineering experience along with staff managementexperience.
- Expertisewith the site development discipline is required. Additionalexperience with oil andgas
- Oiland gas water wastewater geotechnical or environmental engineeringrelated projects arehelpful.
- Goodverbal and written communication skills arerequired.
- Experienceexecuting projects in a multidisciplinaryenvironment.
- Proficientin MS Office Suite AutoCAD HydroCAD and other engineering relatedprograms.
- Abilityto lead multiple projectssimultaneously.
- Strongproblem resolutionabilities.
- Requiregood collaborative skills with a strong workethic.
- Followscompany and client mandated safety rules / practices and is safetyconscious at alltimes.
- Followscompany and client mandated Drug & Alcohol Policies and isable to pass a drug and alcoholtest
- Abilityto travel to project locations asnecessary.
- Abilityto travel between the Moody offices located in Athens Meadville andWashington PA.
WORKSCHEDULES :
Average4045 hours per week as required. Weekly schedules may vary based onbusiness demands. Schedules are typically confirmed during theworkweek (Monday Friday) during normal business hours but mayinclude weekends shifts on Saturday andSunday.
