Allstate Can, a division of The Ohio Art Company, is in need of a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This position will require work on-site 4 days a week with overtime potential on weekends.
Mon-Thurs 6am-4 : 30pm)
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments of materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Unload trucks, containers or palettes, and inspect for any damage or discrepancies.
- Update inventory records to reflect received shipments and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery to customers by properly picking, packing, and labelling products correctly with shipping information and tracking numbers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving information, including receipts, invoices, packing slips and other shipping documents.
- Communicate with internal team, suppliers, and logistics partners to coordinate efficient shipping and receiving activities, resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Successful candidates must display a willingness to work overtime hours as needed and possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Requirements :

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations with at least 2-3 years experience or similar role.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
