Job Description
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to oversee and enhance our Occupational Health Program. This role involves ensuring compliance with government regulations, providing emergency medical care, and promoting overall employee wellness.
Duties :
- Administer and evaluate all phases of the Occupational Health Program.
- Provide immediate and preventative care for employees and contractors.
- Conduct nursing evaluations, pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, and audio-grams.
- Manage health surveillance programs in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Coordinate with management on employee health issues and work restrictions.
- Lead wellness programs and health screenings to enhance employee wellbeing.
- Assist in emergency response planning and training for First Aid, CPR, and Infection Control.
- Oversee drug and alcohol testing and annual physicals for employees and contractors.
- Maintain and manage medical records and equipment inspections.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with Occupational Health Certification or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Specimen Collector Certification, ACLS Certification, Audio Testing Certification with CAOHC, and NIOSH qualification in Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and perform job-specific physical tasks.
Requirements
