- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
- Experience
- One (1) year nursing experience is preferred. Certified or willing to certify in OASIS a plus. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric and adult populations, and to a lesser degree, pediatric populations.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Proficient in nursing skills and documentation.
Must be professional, self-assured, courteous, poised, and versatile. Must possess good organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Able to function independently. Willing to accept responsibilities, and work with other Home Health team members. Current CPR certification.
Must have reliable transportation, current Arkansas drivers license, and automobile liability insurance.
- Physical

- Involves being inside and outside. Exposure to temperatures 32 degrees and less, 100 degrees or more, fumes, dust, and noise.
Potential for exposure to environmental hazards, such as exposure to pests. Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
Hearing within normal range. Normal / corrected eyesight with close eye work. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing / pulling up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to use a variety of equipment including phone, computer, fax, and medical equipment. Willing / able to drive in most weather conditions.
Willing / able to drive at night.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Provides home nursing care and patient / family education. Works independently and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to effectively meet needs / goals of the home health patient.
Develops plans of care, oversees execution of plans of care, and ensures care is provided as ordered.
