This position will spearhead new projects that will enhance corporate value or advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions, assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, and data management.
The Candidate should have / be :
- At least 2 years of project management and data analytics experience
- BA / BS degree -Excellent Excel (Pivot table), Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong systems background
- Data management experience
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors
- Able to work independently
- A self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented, good at preparing, interpreting, and summarizing project tracking reports, and data used in decision making
Beneficial skills include :
- Access or other data base experience
- Experience with Budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, primarily in Excel
- Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
- Accounting and general ledger experience Cost analysis / Cost Accounting
- System implementation
- Sage
- DataRails or similar excel centric data base system
- Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background
