Job Description
Immediate opening for a school-based Occupational Therapist for a school setting located near Jesup, Georgia.
The school needs an OTR / L who can start working by September 2, 2024 or sooner. Manageable caseload, along with a flexible scheduled.
The school will consider a full-time Occupational Therapist. Or, a part-time OT. We do need a Master's level and cannot consider a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) since the school has one OTA already and, that needs supervision.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy License
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- School-Based experience required.
Details
- Needs a a steady and consistent work schedule.
- 25 40-hours per week, based on preference.
- Supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Recent school-based experienced.
- Understand how to write Individual Evaluation Plans (I.E.P.)
- Normal school hours
- Medicaid billing
- Perform occupational therapy with students.
- Provide tools and techniques for daily living skills.
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and occupational therapy to students.
- 2024-25 school year
- August 2024 start May 2025
- Caseload : K-12
- Administer occupational therapy - consults and direct services
