Position Overview :

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team. The Automotive Detailer will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles, ensuring they are showroom-ready and meet our dealership's standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Wash and detail vehicles according to dealership standards, including exterior washing, interior cleaning, and polishing.
  • Vacuum, shampoo, and steam-clean vehicle interiors to remove dirt, stains, and odors.
  • Clean and polish vehicle exteriors, including windows, mirrors, and chrome trim, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Inspect vehicles for any defects or damage and report any issues to management.
  • Apply protective coatings and treatments to vehicle surfaces, such as wax, sealant, and fabric protectant, to enhance appearance and durability.
  • Perform minor cosmetic repairs, such as paint touch-ups and scratch removal, as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste properly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating detailing equipment and handling cleaning agents.
  • Complete work as assigned on repair orders in a timely fashion.c
  • Notify other service personnel if work cannot be completed as promised.
  • Keep up to date on manufacturer training and certifications.
  • Understand and follow all state and federal regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, including lot organization and vehicle movement.

Qualifications :

  • Able to work without supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Physically capable of long days on your feet in the outdoor environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive detailing techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
