We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team and ensure the well-being of our workforce and the sustainability of our projects.

Job Description :

Position Overview : The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all

health, safety, and environmental policies and programs for our grid-scale wind or solar projects. This role requires an expert in HSE

management within the renewable energy sector, with extensive experience in large-scale wind or solar construction projects. The HSE Manager

will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities :

â ¢ HSE Program Development : Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and policies tailored to grid-scale wind or solar projects.

â ¢ Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and industry standards.

â ¢ Risk Assessment : Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

â ¢ Training and Education : Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.

â ¢ Incident Management : Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

â ¢ Safety Audits and Inspections : Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies and identify areas for improvement.

â ¢ Environmental Protection : Oversee environmental management practices to minimize the impact of construction activities on the environment.

â ¢ Emergency Response : Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness for any potential incidents.

â ¢ Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, incidents, inspections, and training activities.

â ¢ Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with project managers, engineers, regulatory agencies, and community representatives to address HSE concerns.

â ¢ Continuous Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE practices and performance.

Qualifications :

â ¢ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

â ¢ Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management, with a focus on grid-scale wind or solar projects.

â ¢ In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices specific to the renewable energy sector.

â ¢ Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE management systems.

â ¢ Strong leadership and team management skills.

â ¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

â ¢ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

â ¢ Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.

â ¢ Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar certification is a plus.
