Job Description Position Summary : Level 2, 3, or 4 candidates will be expected to successfully apply all common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers on a diversity of substrates and intermediate product configurations, (geometries) using conventional HVLP equipment in pressure, siphon and gravity fed variants.

Candidates for these positions shall be fully familiar with proper equipment setup including production air and pot pressures, fluid / air mixtures and fan adjustments as well as proper gun angles distance and speed as they relate to specific part geometries and unique coating characteristics.

Additionally, these individuals should have a basic understanding of the cause and effect of common paint defects and the necessary adjustments for elimination of noted defects.

These operators will be expected to maintain terminal equipment in good working order throughout the production cycle. Level 2 candidates will be expected to control wet / dry film coating thicknesses IAW noted prescribed requirements.

These individuals should be qualified in associated support functions such as racking, turning and sanding operations as well as equipment maintenance and paint mixing operations.

As a condition of assignment, level 2, 3, or 4 painter candidates may be expected to process product controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and / or Export Administration Regulations.

As such these candidates may be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, Legal Permanent Residence or protected status as a Non-Citizen National of the U.

S. Shift : Monday-Friday 6am-2 : 30pm (Flexible) Primary Duties & Responsibilities : Reviewing and assimilating work instructions specific to paint type, dimensional tolerance and thickness considerations.

Loading, adjustment and light maintenance of conventional HVLP coating equipment in remote pressure, siphon and gravity fed variants.

Setup and operation of conventional and airless ID pots, pumps and guns. Successful application of multiple solvent and water reducible primers to a wide variety of substrates and all product and part configurations from simple to complex geometry.
