Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited four-year college or university with 5-7 years of experience in product design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in product design.
- Specific experience in aircraft lavatory design.
- Experienced with commercial aircraft interior design.
- Strong engineering skills, including structures, mechanisms, and systems.
- Ability to research and investigate design solutions independently.
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling and drafting; NX preferred. Proficiency in Catia, Solidworks, or other CAD programs is also acceptable.
- Skill in interpreting 2D drawings, including understanding GD&T and performing tolerance stackups.
Preferred Skills :
Advanced proficiency in NX.
Job Responsibilities :
- Own and manage multiple product design projects simultaneously.
- Develop innovative design solutions for aircraft interiors, focusing on lavatories.
- Conduct independent research and investigations to enhance design solutions.
- Prepare and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Pay Details : $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
