STV Constuction Management is seeking a Project Manager for the Southern Connecticut market with a strong history of experience representing owners on Higher Education and other types of capital projects.

The Project Manager’s overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the schedule, budget and quality requirements of the project.

This is a full time in person position.

  • Participate in, or leads project-specific marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for successful project selection.
  • Develop and manage the project execution plan.
  • Manage all project activities including project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work and budget progress.
  • Hold regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review team performance and make sure that the client’s expectations are being met.

Required Skills :

  • 4-year degree in building construction, engineering, architecture, facilities management or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in the design, construction of facilities within the Higher Education and / or Public Sector market
  • Exceptional technical and project management skills related to the planning, design and construction process
  • Ability to ensure that all project objectives are achieved
  • Capability to manage competing demands on multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and handle challenges on an independent basis
  • Comfortable managing meetings, presenting data and participating and presenting in interviews

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Lift up to 20 lbs. at a time and frequently lift or carry objects 10 lbs. or more. Standing-prolonged periods of time. Repetitive Motion-substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers.

Close Visual Acuity-work includes data / figures; view a computer screen; extensive reading. Mobility around a job / construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation Range :

$109,063.00 - $145,418.00
