We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Traveling Electrician to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on large, heavy commercial projects while traveling to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, experience with large industrial or data center projects, and a passion for travel.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Traveling Electrician, you will be responsible for :
1. Traveling to various project sites to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on heavy commercial projects.
2. Managing and overseeing electrical systems for large projects, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
3. Analyzing and resolving complex electrical problems and providing technical advice as needed.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure all electrical components meet industry standards and regulations.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of electrical safety protocols and procedures.
6. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to prevent potential issues.
7. Providing detailed reports and documentation of all electrical work, including any issues and resolutions.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
9. Representing the company in a professional manner at all times, maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this unique opportunity, candidates must have :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, preferably with Large Industrial or Data Center Experience
2. Proven experience working on heavy commercial projects and large-scale electrical systems.
3. Exceptional technical skills, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical drawings.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. The ability to travel extensively and adapt to various working environments.
8. A valid electrician's license and driver's license.
9. A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
10. A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the electrical industry.
11. Familiarity with the latest industry technologies and trends.
