About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Coordinator Job Specialty : Hematology / Oncology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 - 18 : 30), Monday-Friday with a variable day off Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required (1-year minimum Hem / Onc BMT experience).
First-timers accepted with 3+ years of experience. License : Pending license accepted. Application needs to be submitted and received by the licensing board to qualify.
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred Must-Have : Epic experience required Job Description : Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients seeking oncology services, including bone marrow / stem cell transplant, cellular therapies, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments.
- Assess patient and family needs, assist in developing a care plan, implement, educate, and evaluate the care delivered.
- Serve as a key communication link between the patient, family, and the care team.- Continuously advocate for patients and their families, ensuring that clinical and business systems are customer service-focused.
- Float within the hospital as required, but not to sister hospitals.- Not required for weekend shifts or on-call duties.
- Orientation for the first two weeks will be on-site.- Open to locals and accommodating block schedules as per posting conditions.
- Return staff policy requires a break of 6+ months before reapplication.
