Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst to assume a crucial role within our clients revenue operations teams, where you will ensure the accuracy, usability, and security of their data assets.

In this position, you will develop and implement robust data governance policies, manage data resources, and ensure adherence to data protection regulations.

Your expertise will be pivotal in crafting and executing data governance processes, conducting comprehensive data analyses, and facilitating data governance initiatives across our client organizations.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enhance decision-making capabilities and propel business growth through strategic data management.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data governance strategies to enhance data quality and accessibility across the organization.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure that data governance policies are synchronized with organizational goals and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Define and enforce standards for data usage, security, and archival within the company-wide data governance frameworks.
  • Conduct data audits and manage data-related risks to uphold high standards of compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.
  • Standardize and automate data management processes to improve efficiency across various organizational domains.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to establish and document precise data definitions, standards, and classification rules for key data domains
  • Work closely with IT teams to document data flows, sources, and lineage to guarantee data transparency and accuracy throughout its lifecycle.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of data governance tools and technologies, including data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality solutions.
  • Train and support team members in best practices for data management and governance, enhancing overall data literacy within the organization.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data analysis, or a related role, with a preference for candidates familiar with the revenue (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) operations industry.
  • Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, big data tools, and data management practices, including privacy, protection, retention, and archiving.
  • Understanding of IT security and compliance, with certifications in IT security or data governance viewed favorably.
  • Skilled in using data governance and data quality management tools, with a strong foundation in data governance principles and best practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
