Our large castings client is in need of a 1st shift Electrical Engineering Supervisor to oversee all plant electrical systems, repairs and improvement for the entire location.
The Electrical Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager.

What you will be doing :
- Ensuring that all electrical and electronic equipment are operationally ready.
- Plan for all long-range electrical projects and for the electrical portion of any other projects.
- Supervise all three shifts of electrical staff and be directly involved in the selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel.
- Manage administrative programs that concern electrical systems and personnel.
- Oversee all contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects.
What they are looking for :
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of electrical experience or 10+ years of electrical experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Must have prior supervisory experience.
- Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting and repair of controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems.
- Any project management experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are expected.
