Description :
Our Orthopedic Surgery practice is seeking a Front & Back Office Medical Assistant . This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key.
You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including :
Responsibilities :
- Preparing patient for exams and / or procedures
- Vitals and rooming patients
- Administering medications
- Maintaining exam rooms
- Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
- Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
- Scanning and faxing
- Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
- Medical Record entry
- Scheduling / Rescheduling Appointments
Requirements :
- Excellent customer service / interpersonal skills
- 1+ years Back Office experience (preferred, not mandatory)
- MA Certificate
- Medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications :
Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Compensation will be based on experience
Pay Scale / Ranges :
$21.00-$26.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience.
The pay scale / ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
