This is a remote position.
Our Customer Service Agents areresponsible for assisting clients in planning and handlingarrangements including flights accommodation transportation toursand other related activities.
The role requires strongcommunication skills attention to detail and a deep understandingof the travel industry to ensure clients have enjoyable andstressfree travel experiences.
KeyResponsibilities :
ClientConsultation : Talk to clients over the phone to understand theirtravel preferences budget and specific requirements.
Discussvarious travel options and offerrecommendations.
Travel ItineraryPlanning : Design customized travel itineraries based on clientsneeds including flights accommodations transportation tours andother activities.
BookingArrangements : Coordinate and book travel components such as flightshotels rental cars cruises tours and other travelrelatedservices.
TravelDocumentation : Assist clients with obtaining necessary traveldocuments such as passports visas and travel insurance.
Ensure alldocuments are accurate and meetrequirements.
TravelAdvice : Provide clients with information on traveldestinations cultural norms weather safety and local customs. Offertips on how to make the most of their travelexperiences.
ProblemResolution : Address and resolve any issues or changes in travelplans such as flight cancelations or booking errors.
Offeralternative solutions to ensure clientsatisfaction.
BudgetManagement : Work within clients budgets to find the best traveloptions ensuring that they get value for theirmoney.
CustomerService : Maintain regular communication with clients throughoutthe planning process and during their travels to address anyquestions or concerns.
IndustryKnowledge : Stay updated with industry trends travel regulationsand safety guidelines. Build relationships with travel vendors andsuppliers.
Sales andMarketing : Promote travel services to potential clients eitherthrough direct communication or marketing campaigns.
Generate newleads and maintain a clientdatabase.
WorkEnvironment :
Our Travel Planners will workremotely from home. They may also attend industry events tradeshows or familiarization trips to stay updated on traveldestinations and trends but that is notrequired.
Requirements
Qualificationsand Skills :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degreein a related field (such as hospitality tourism or business) ispreferred but not required.
Experience : Previous experience in travel planning customerservice or a related field wouldhelp.
Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skillsattention to detail problemsolving abilities and organizationalskills.
Proficiency with travel booking software and computerapplications.
