CDL DRIVERS FOR SUMMER CAMP

Having great staff is a vital part to the success of any camp! The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for well qualified CDL drivers to join us for a great 2021 Summer! We are looking for staff who have a genuine love for children, are kind and patient, show a love for the outdoors and are happy to share that with children.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who believe in the YMCA's cause and are passionate about fun.

General Job Duties : Transports children and staff to and from field trips in school buses, assists camp staff with administrative tasks related to the bus and supports counselors in providing supervision of 5-12 year olds! Must enjoy interacting with staff and children on trips, have high energy level and be flexible with work schedule each week.

Requirement / Certifications : must provide proof of current (Commercial Driver's License) CDL, Medical Certificate, current Motor Vehicle Report, CPR / First Aid certification and our CBI / Fingerprinting.

Salary range $17-20 / per hour while driving. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Additional opportunities and hours can be available for those interested in serving as day camp staff. You'll serve 20 to 40 hours a week between 7 : 00a to 6 : 00p M-F.

No evenings. No weekends (except one required weekend training May 21-22nd)! This position is seasonal between May 21st -Aug 12th.

If you work 20+ hours a week, your benefits grow from there. Sick time is earned from day 1, and we make contributions of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund for eligible staff.
