Assembly Technician – Full Time | $18 / hr | Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM | Highland, NY

We're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Highland, NY. This full-time role offers steady hours, a four-day workweek, and the opportunity to build quality products while developing your skills in lean manufacturing.

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Pay : $18 / hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

  • Assemble components of light fixtures following standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to perform precise, high-quality work.
  • Support continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues quickly.
  • Perform accurate ERP transactions and maintain organized, up-to-date documentation.
  • Help train new team members when needed and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
