Part-Time Food Technician
Corporate Restaurant - HQ in Columbus, Ohio
$16.00 per hour
Open availability Tuesday-Thursday, 7 : 00am-6 : 30pm
(Will Work 4-20 hours per week)
Dublin, Ohio (onsite)
Preparing food for the sensory taste panels, in Research & Development. This is an ideal job for students (especially in food science or hospitality), someone working part-time or retirees, who want to make some extra money working for an internationally recognized restaurant chain and earn fantastic incentives. Most importantly, looking for reliability.
What you'll be doing :
- Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks
- Can maintain the fast pace required for all panels
- Ability to stand for 5-6 hours at a time
- Rapidly assimilates, uses new information, and is quick to adapt to new situations and procedures
- General use and knowledge of kitchen equipment (training provided)
- Understands and executes detailed cook and build charts and instructions (training provided)
- Handles all food-related products with the highest level of sanitation
- Produces a consistent product throughout the entire duration of a panel to ensure the highest level of accuracy

Associates CANNOT have ANY food allergiesMultitasking – Willingness / ability to switch positions and require little follow-upReliability – Attends all scheduled panels at the assigned time. Ability to complete each task without a Sensory Team / R&D Member presentCommunication – Provide solicited and unsolicited feedback to the Sensory Team / R&D regarding the taste panel. This includes any cooking or serving delays, inaccuracy of products served, incorrect product usage, etc.Initiative – Proactive and acts without being prompted. This may include helping other consultants, prepping for upcoming panels, etc.#ZR
