Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant
LHH is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant in the Houston TX area. Our client is a business services company and is looking to hire as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in month-end close activities
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist in financial statement preparation
- Provide schedules for financial audits
- Lead / mentor staff accountants
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of three years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting
Skills :
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
