The Woodbridge School
The Woodbridge School at PCD is a unique, child-centered early childhood education program for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
We follow a Reggio inspired learning model. We observe and develop curriculum based on the children’s interest. Our environment is warm, welcoming, and seen as an important part of the learning experience.
The Job
The Woodbridge School at PCD is looking for a kind, patient, and engaging full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher Substitute who is committed to growing their teaching career.
We invite you to join our growing Woodbridge School Early Childhood teaching team. Being a smaller school, you get to be part of a close-knit, supportive, and dedicated team.

Duties include aiding with classroom activities, maintaining a clean and neat classroom environment, curriculum development and engaging with the Preschool students in play.
The Woodbridge School program runs on a Monday-Friday basis from 7 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm and operates on a 12-month calendar.
The present program opening is in our preschool classroom working 40 hours weekly (M-F) from 8 am 4 pm.

Requirements :
- At least (6) months of previous Preschool Assistant Teacher experience required. Toddler and Pre-K experience also considered.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to caring for the wellbeing of young children.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. Must be creative and proactive with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality of work.
- Must be able to handle difficult situations and confidential material with sensitivity and professionalism.
