Meridia Recruitment Solutions is proud to partner with Stubbs Engineering in search of an experienced Structural Engineer in Forth Worth, Texas .
Established in 2010, Stubbs is an award-winning, full service structural engineering firm specializing in the sustainable design of building structures.
Projects vary and may include concrete structures, steel and / or wood framing. Stubbs also has an extensive practice working with architects, owners, developers, general contractors, government entities, fabricators and erectors to design methods for building construction.

Role Description
In this position, you will be the driving force behind projects, steering them from conception to completion. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of small to medium sized projects, applying your expertise in design and engineering.
You will also play a pivotal role in scheduling, marketing and business development initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Designing complex structures, ensuring they meet code and project requirements;
- Supervising the development of BIM models using Autodesk Revit for Contract Documents;
- Reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and performing site observations during the CA phase of the project;
- Defining project budgets and scopes, interfacing effectively with clients and construction teams;
- Providing invaluable technical leadership and strong mentorship to up-and-coming junior engineers.
Your Qualifications

Most of all, you communicate clearly and use your strong interpersonal skills to motivate others toward a common goal, while also building strong rapport with colleagues, clients and contractors.
Your qualifications include :
- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university;
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license;
- Successful completion of the 8-hour NCEES Civil-Structural Examination;
- Proficient understanding of structural engineering principles;
- Project management experience;
- Experience with structural design / project management software is highly beneficial, including RISA, Enercalc, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office;
- Familiarity with construction materials and procedures;
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
