Certified Sterile Processing Tech

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech fill an opening with a well-known Hospital in Norman, OK.

Daily Responsibilities for the Certified Sterile Processing Tech :

• Maintain high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspection, and sterilization preparation of surgical instruments / equipment.
• Ensure consistent workflow between the OR, Central Processing, and the entire facility while providing excellent customer service.
• Perform duties independently and proficiently, and train new employees.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy to re-supply crash carts with IV fluids and medications.
• Act as a resource for CSSPD customers and manage patient care equipment and supplies.

Compensation Notes : $16.72 - $25.50 / hr (depending on tenure / experience)

Minimum Education / Licensures / Qualifications :

• High school education or the equivalent
• Must be Certified through the HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPD with the CRCST or CSPDT credential respectively
• At least 1 year sterile processing experience
