Location : Missoula, MT USA.
Salary Range : $117,700 - $176,550 per year
Travel Required : Up to 20%
Visa Support : Some visa sponsorships supported

Position Overview :
The Director of People Services will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to enhance community health by fostering a supportive and effective workplace.
This leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic human resources initiatives that align with the organization's values and goals.
The Director will oversee all aspects of people services, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training, while ensuring compliance with labor agreements and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Guide the development and execution of policies and strategies related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training to support the organization's mission and values.
- Union Relations : Represent the organization in contract negotiations, manage labor agreements, and consult with legal counsel on union contract issues and compliance matters.
- Policy Development : Establish and implement policies and procedures that support the organization's strategic direction and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Change Management : Lead and drive change initiatives using data-driven insights to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Senior Leadership Consultation : Partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on organizational assessments, workforce planning, and change management to enhance overall capability.
- Employee Relations : Foster positive relations with unions, administer collective bargaining agreements, and address employee concerns to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
- Data Analysis : Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends in employee relations and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the work environment.
- Training and Development : Oversee the design and delivery of training programs, including orientation for new hires and development sessions for existing staff.
- Regulatory Compliance : Stay current on state and federal employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance and mitigate legal risks.
Required Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of human resources experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record in union environments.
- Certifications : SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Industry Experience : Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Advanced Education : Master’s degree preferred.
