What is a Driver & Warehouse Worker

We are looking for a conscientious, customer focused person who pays attention to detail. The Driver / Materials Handler drives to our customers locations, ensures that items are packed and wrapped appropriately and transports back to our warehouse.

Responsible for pick-up and delivery of customers items.

• Daily inspection of vehicles
• Follow all State Laws applicable to Driving.
• Retrieves and loads vehicle customer equipment
• Reviews paperwork for accuracy
• Gathering supplies for job completion
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Receives deliveries and unloads trucks
• Replenishes truck with needed supplies
• When not driving, you will be doing warehouse work including inventory, basic equipment testing
• Occasional overnight pickups are required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

A High school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have a clean New York State drivers license and have experience driving a 16 or 26 box truck.

Must be able to follow directions carefully and have strong attention to detail while multitasking. Must have a strong sense of teamwork and accountability.

Must be able to use a computer, be proficient in Excel, and have basic word processing and e-mail skills. We require applicants to be able to use pallet jacks, and hand tools.

It is required that you can regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, lift and kneel; use the repetitive motion of hands or wrists;

finger, grasp, handle or feel; reach with arms and hands.

Conditions of Employment

Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must have a clear New York State Drivers License.

Must be able to pass a drug test and basic medical exam required to drive a 26 box truck. A CDL license is not required.
