- The pay for this position is $40-$45 per hour based on experience
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Highlights
- The required availability for this position is 12 Hour Nights
- The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient / family centered care.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Responsibilities
- Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
- Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
- Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
- Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- 3.5 Year of Experience in Med / Surg or similar specialties Required
- At least 1 year of experience in a Trauma Level I or II facility Required
- State of Michigan Licensure
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Preferred Qualifications
- Cerner EMR Experience - Highly Preferred
- ACLS - Preferred
