job_description.job_card.job_descriptionConduct physical examinations and gather medical history to determine donor eligibility. Foster positive relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Maintain confidentiality of donor and staff information. Educate donors on safety and potential hazards. Provide counseling to donors regarding general health and any unacceptable test results. Evaluate and respond to donor injuries and adverse events. Assess medical history and medication use to confirm ongoing donor eligibility. Assist in training new staff members. Administer Hepatitis vaccination programs for employees. Ability to perform tasks while standing or sitting for 2 to 4 hours daily. Frequent bending and twisting may be required for up to 2 hours a day. Good manual dexterity with hands; ability to conduct fast, precise movements. Occasional light lifting of up to 15lbs; maximum lift of 50lbs may be necessary. Good vision (correctable to 20 / 30 in one eye) and hearing acuity are crucial. Excellent communication skills to convey and receive information effectively. Capability to work independently and follow instructions accurately. Ability to adapt to changing demands and perform various tasks. Sensitive information handling with diverse groups in a plasma center environment. Possible exposure to biological fluids and lab equipment; protective gear will be provided. Work may require exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing tasks in plasma freezers.
