The Sales Product Executive provides leadership and direction for organization-wide sales strategies and objectives to drive business growth and success.

The incumbent works closely with cross-functional teams and the sales team to identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, connect and engage with the communities to identify needs, and build relationships with customers.

The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing on sales strategies guided by the organization’s strategic plan.

2. Essential Functions :

  • Lead the development and implementation of organization-wide sales strategies for various Y products and programs that align with the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Design sales strategies with the focus on increasing revenue, expanding customer base and meeting community needs.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities through community outreach and networking.
  • Build relationships with customers through intentional interactions and feedback including cross-functional teams’ input.
  • Develop, implement and measure sales protocols and best practices and train and develop the sales team to drive for service excellence and achieve goals.
  • Develop and define sales data and key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations and decisions.
  • Partner with VP of Marketing on organizational pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct frequent visits to operations locations, meet with new location sales leaders to onboard and train on sales process and procedures, engage in operations leadership meeting and events, and participate in external community events, as applicable, to build and cultivate relationships and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership groups, develop sales budget and goals.
  • Convene location sale leaders across the organization, lead meeting and collaboration efforts to influence team cohesion, knowledge growth, and consistent quality sales delivery and services.
  • Define, track, evaluate key performance metrics to measure the success and adjust as needed.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices and apply knowledge by continue development of the sales team, refine sales strategies and protocols and offer recommendations for improvement to leadership and cross-function partners and ensure the organization’s competitive position.
  • Develop business cases for new sales opportunities across physical, virtual and hybrid platform and engage with cross-functional partners to assess, develop, execute and measure accordingly.

3. Relationships :

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Product Growth who reports to the Executive Vice President, Operations and Finance.

The incumbent regularly interacts with locations’ leadership and Executives, members, and participants. The incumbent of this role leads a sales team.

4. Qualifications :

  • B.S. / B.A. degree in business administration, marketing or related field, with non-profit or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in leading and driving for sales results.
  • Experience developing sales strategy in line with the strategic vision of the organization.
  • Experience with sales strategies and a proven track record of creating initiatives that will drive and increase revenue.
  • Ability and desire to work in a diverse work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and abilities to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise and up-to-date knowledge in product area of leadership.
  • Passion for innovation and result-oriented.
  • Ability to achieve results through the use of influence and relationships.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication, and human relations skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment with a keen focus on driving for results and excellence.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to build, inspire, motivate, and lead a team toward success.
  • Exceptional written, oral, presentation, and editing skills.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

5. Physical Demands :

Travel locally to visit sites and attend trainings / meetings.
