We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

This role is a permanent position, requiring 90% travel. The successful candidate will provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of our complex machinery.

This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is eager to apply their technical skills on a global scale.

Responsibilities :

1. Travel extensively to customer sites, performing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex machinery.

2. Diagnose and repair issues with electrical and control systems.

3. Operate and maintain depalletizers, palletizers, and packers.

4. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to identify and resolve issues.

5. Perform minor PLC programming to support the functionality and efficiency of our machines.

6. Provide exceptional customer service, offering guidance and advice on machine operation and maintenance.

7. Collaborate effectively with the engineering team, sharing insights and feedback to improve machine design and functionality.

8. Adhere to all safety regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

9. Document all service and installation actions by completing reports, logs, and records.

10. Train and educate customers on the correct operation and maintenance of machines.

Qualifications :

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and control systems troubleshooting.

3. Hands-on experience with depalletizers, palletizers, and packers.

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.

5. Basic experience in PLC programming.

6. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.

7. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

10. Willingness to travel extensively (90% of the time) to customer sites.

11. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

12. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.

13. High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational certification in a related field is preferred.
