Position Title : Lead Software Engineer

Location : Santa Monica, CA preferred, but open to remote candidates
Rate : $70-80 USD / hr
Beacon Hill Technologies is supporting one of the largest media and entertainment companies in finding a lead software engineer to support the ad infrastructure team behind streaming service ads.
Job Summary :
- You'll write automation tools to support developers deploying and running cloud infrastructure.
- You will implement and execute best practices and security standards for operating in the cloud.
- You will contribute to a library of shared terraform modules.
- Work with infrastructure tooling and be a good resource for forming cloud infrastructure as code.
- Provide support to dev teams for our tooling and platform.
- Work will consist of 75% DevOps, 25% Development
Basic Qualifications :
3+ years of experience with Javascript / Typescript
5+ years of experience with Python or Go
5+ years of experience with AWS
5+ years of experience with Terraform
5+ years of experience with deployment pipelines such as Spinnaker / Gitlab / CircleCi
Preferred Qualifications :
AWS Certifications
Experience with Unix / Linux systems
Experience with Airflow
Experience with Istio
Required Education :
Bachelors in Computer Science or similar field
