Operations Manager - Residential Power Generation
Pay : $120-125K / yr + Bonuses

A Residential Electrical service company is currently looking for an Operations Manager to play an integral part in the company's growth and success! Qualified candidates will be a thoughtful leader, confident decision-makers, and passionate about helping our people develop while ensuring we are exceeding our client's expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Oversee expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and fleet.
- Ensure the team follows best practices in managing inventories for all trades, including proper consumption of inventory, safeguarding of all parts / materials, and overall inventory control of all company assets.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Evaluate work and personnel schedules to ensure customers' needs are covered, technicians are not overburdened, and to achieve maximum growth potential.
- Evaluate work and personal schedules to maximize efficiency in achieving profit margins and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Maintain compliance with licensing, codes, and permits.
- Manage and develop service staff to include recruiting, hiring, performance management, discipline, and termination.
- Manage the performance to the metrics scorecard.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and ongoing technical and communication training to increase performance.
- Conduct weekly meetings and direct work assignments to maximize production.
- Assist dispatch in ensuring the appropriate technician for the type of service, and provide accurate dispatch, arrival, and completion times.
- Manage the performance to the metric scorecard.
- Review customer satisfaction / issues daily and resolve any issues same day
Requirements :
- 5+ years in prior managerial role
- Demonstrated core leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage others
- Strong communication skills
- Financial understanding
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to create / direct sound business strategy and adhere to plan
- Ability to confront issues head-on with tact and diplomacy
