Infection Control Registered Nurse / Nurse Educator Opportunity

This opportunity is full-time, 40 hours per week. The Meadows is seeking an experienced Infection Control RN who will also educate nurses at The Meadows during their orientation and throughout their employment with The Meadows.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA.

The Meadows is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital and has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• Valid Pennsylvania Registerd Nursing License or Temp Permit to Practice
• Must be Certified in Infection Control (CIC) or obtain within two (2) years of employment.
• APIC Membership within 30 days
• Genuine interest in Psychiatric Nursing
• Previous Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred, not required as we provide on the job training and education
