Correctional LPN Job Details :

• Pay Rate : $36 per hour
• Schedule : 6 : 45a-3 : 00p
• Available Shift : 8 hour day shift, 5 shifts per week, must commit to working Holidays
• Start Date : 11 / 4
• Located In : Lambertsville, NJ
• Requirements : Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid LPN license and be willing to obtain NJ licensure.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a correctional care setting, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation.

This position works in partnership with a team of correctional staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision on RNs or physicians.
• Monitoring patients vitals and symptoms administering medication and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by a physician and monitor for adverse reactions to medications
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate interventions as needed
• Documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately and timely
• Educating patients on self-care techniques and promoting health education within the correctional facility
