Job Details

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our small animal practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our clients' pets and ensuring their overall health and well-being.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of pets to diagnose and treat health problems
  • Administer vaccinations, perform routine surgeries, and prescribe medications
  • Develop treatment plans and communicate them effectively to pet owners
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive and efficient patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Educate pet owners about preventive care and promote overall wellness of pets

Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Current state veterinary license and DEA license
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in a small animal practice
  • Proficient in performing routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, and dental cleanings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
