Housekeeper

Job Description : Full-Time Housekeeper for Private Family

Location : Private Family Residence

Schedule : Monday to Friday, flexible hours (8 AM - 4 PM, 9 AM - 5 PM, or 10 AM - 6 PM)

Compensation : $35 - $40 / hr.

Benefits : 2 weeks PTO, 6 major holidays paid off.

Overview :

A busy and organized family is looking for a trustworthy, mature, and highly organized housekeeper to help maintain their 8,000 sq ft home.

The ideal candidate will be family-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to manage household duties with minimal supervision.

The family consists of a couple, their 21-month-old child, and an elderly uncle, along with three well-behaved dogs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Family Laundry & Ironing : Manage all household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing as needed.
• Garbage : Ensure garbage is taken out on pick-up days.
• Bathroom Maintenance : Clean the primary suite bathroom twice a week to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Daily Tidying : Tidy up the kitchen, kids' room, and common areas daily, ensuring no clutter is left out, especially in the primary bathroom and kitchen.
• Meal Prep : help with meal prep
• Errands : Pick up groceries weekly and drop off dry cleaning once a week, if needed.
• Small Projects : Assist with small household projects throughout the year such as helping in the garden, cleaning interior windows, hosing down the covered porch, and maintaining the outdoor kitchen.
• Holiday Decorating : Help the family with holiday decorations during festive seasons.
• Pet Care : Ensure the family’s three dogs are fed, have water, and are let outside regularly.

• A trustworthy and mature individual who can respect privacy and provide reliable support.
• Someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, keeping the home tidy at all times.
• Must be family-oriented and comfortable working in a home with children and elderly family members.
• Experience in household management with the ability to balance cleaning and other tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working with and caring for the family’s non-shedding, trained dogs.

Requirements :

• Valid driver’s license (car provided for errands)
• Comfortable working in a large home (8,000 sq ft)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently
• Previous housekeeping or similar experience preferred
• Must love dogs and be willing to assist with their care
