About the job

In a rapidly evolving financial services landscape, innovation is crucial to staying ahead. Capco at the forefront of this transformation, and we are looking for a Marketing & Content Strategy Lead to drive strategic initiatives that combine robust marketing strategies with impactful content solutions.

As a Principal Consultant in our Marketing Services practice you will excel at both high-level strategic thinking and the tactical content execution that brings those strategies to life.

You will be instrumental in shaping and delivering multi-channel campaigns that deepen customer engagement, foster loyalty, and drive business growth for our financial services clients in banking, insurance, capital markets, and wealth management.

What you’ll get to do

  • Lead the development and execution of brand, loyalty, and integrated marketing initiatives for clients, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including user experience designers, visual designers, and business analysts, to create compelling and innovative experiences, campaigns, and communications.
  • Conduct audience research to inform marketing strategies and content development, ensuring that campaigns resonate with target audiences across digital and traditional channels.
  • Create and implement content strategies, editorial guides, and campaign concepts for various channels, including web, mobile, social media, and email.
  • Develop and oversee multi-channel campaigns aligned with the customer journey, providing strategic oversight and recommendations for optimization.
  • Define and measure campaign performance through actionable KPIs and dashboards, presenting insights to executive leadership.
  • Support client workshops to uncover insights, understand requirements, and align on strategic direction.
  • Advocate passionately for strong storytelling and the power of content to drive business results, both internally and with clients.
  • Shape and expand our content strategy and marketing services offerings, contributing to the growth and development of our practice.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring the development of high-quality work products.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, working collaboratively to deliver strategic marketing and content solutions.
  • Lead the creation of clear, insightful briefs that guide content and creative strategies.
  • Participate in business development efforts, crafting proposals and solutions that meet client needs.

What you’ll bring with you

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-channel digital content strategy, with at least 3+ years focused on digital and integrated marketing strategies.
  • A current portfolio showcasing your work in content strategy and integrated marketing.
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing B2B and B2C marketing strategies that drive results, including lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of how content strategy integrates with user experience, visual design, and business goals to create cohesive digital experiences.
  • Experience in Agile Marketing, marketing portfolio management, and advanced analytics to inform strategy.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable success in using digital and traditional marketing channels, with knowledge of marketing attribution and media mix optimization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, a passion for process, and the ability to connect design and content strategy to business outcomes.
  • Experience working in geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity about the intersection of content, technology, and customer experience.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and unexpected challenges with flexibility and poise.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Previous work in an agency environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus
