Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals / Elmhurst and Queens is seeking a part time (32 hours per week) Urologist.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.

The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

Scheduling is flexible and call responsibilities will be no more than 1 in 4 and are also flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care and the teaching and supervision of Mount Sinai Urology residents and students
  • Experience in reconstruction, female / pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction and endourology

Qualifications

  • MD degree from an Accredited University
  • Board certified / board eligible by the American Board of Urology
  • Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation

Compensation range is from $250K to $253K plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.

We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.

As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
