Responsibilities :
- Performs PET scan procedures to include :
- Place IVs & injection of radiopharmaceutical
- Setup of protocols
- Reconstruction and development of images
- Complete necessary documentation to ensure timely delivery of services
- Archiving of images
- Network image transfers
- Management of hot lab and radiopharmaceutical doses
- Ensure all Radiation Safety procedures are followed and documented
- Maintain proper documentation for state and regulatory compliance
- Manage Scheduled procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files
- Maintains education in PET / CT for development of teaching and educational information
- Provide back-up coverage for diagnostic CT and CT simulation
Qualifications :
- AS or BS degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an CNMT accredited program is required
- CNMT certification required
- AS or BS degree in Radiologic Technology or X-ray Operator License preferred
- Experience with placing IVs
- Current CPR certification required

Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting / standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
