Job Overview

The Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's digital communication and IT networks. This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, including improvement to communication structure and security measures. The Senior Network Engineer will ensure the optimal performance of existing networks and contribute to the development of new systems.

Perform systems management and integration functions.

• Establish and maintain IT and digital communication infrastructure, encompassing wireless, WAN, and LAN networks.
• Design, develop, and / or integrate proven solutions for vast portfolio of commercial and public customers.
• Administer and manage digital communication software, including email, user credentials, network access, and troubleshooting for existing staff.
• Train new employees to navigate company IT network systems and ensure their familiarity with communication protocols.
• Plan projects, defining scope, documentation, and time management to ensure timely project completion.
• Safeguard networks against malware and viruses, proactively identifying vulnerabilities and enhancing security measures in response to evolving cyber threats.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff members.
• Conduct analysis and gather data to identify opportunities for communication network enhancements.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure optimal network performance.
• Serve as an escalation point for Support Desk personnel.
• Uphold and update certifications in Network and Security technologies.
• Assume a leadership role within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and aid in training Support Desk staff.
• Design and architect networks within specified project timelines.
