• Lead and manage the nursing staff in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and staff engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
• Ensure the Emergency Department is equipped with the necessary supplies and equipment to provide high-quality care.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Previous experience in a Tertiary Care facility and 2 years of nursing leadership.
• Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are required
• Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, emergency department protocols, and standards of patient care.
