Key Responsibilities :

Prepare sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes with precision, attention to detail, and consistency.

Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Assist in menu development and execution of new dishes and daily specials.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen areas.

Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Uphold Yamashiro Miami’s elevated standards in culinary technique and presentation.

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum 2+ years as a sushi cook in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or high-volume establishments.

Knowledge : Expertise in Japanese culinary techniques, sushi preparation, knife skills, and traditional plating.

Skills :

Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
