Communicating all participant / patient changes & needs to direct supervisor
Performing pre & post vehicle safety inspections, assuring vehicle is in proper operational condition and reporting any maintenance issues to immediate supervisor
Maintain cleanliness of interior & exterior of Centra vehicle
Following scheduled transports for PACE participants or patients & other potential trips communicated by direct supervisor
Maintain all necessary records / documentation regarding participants / patients & vehicles
Communicating frequent changes to direct supervisor
Performs other duties as assigned.
For PACE : Delivery of participant medications, medical supplies and other medical necessities
For PACE : Entering safely into participant’s homes on a routine basis
For PACE : participates as an extension of the Transport Supervisor as a member of the interdisciplinary team & participating in participant’s care plans
For PACE : Must meet standardized set of competencies for specific position established by Centra PACE and regulatory agencies

Valid Virginia driver’s license
For PACE : One year's experience working with a frail and elderly population exhibiting the skills needed to assist geriatric patients with transportation needs
Before being released solo : CPR First Aid, Stair and Gait training Wheelchair training, fall prevention training
Emergency Vehicle Operators Course
PACE Employees need to be completed within six months of hire
Ground Transport need to be completed before being released solo
Preferred Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED
Previous pre-hospital EMS or transport experience
