Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD / BIM Designer with knowledge and experience with Process Mechanical piping to work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers, in the design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities projects.
Position responsibilities will include :
- Prepare plan, section, and detail drawings for various process mechanical systems.
- Coordination with other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, HVAC -Plumbing, Electrical, Instrumentation, Site Civil)
- Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles
- Creation of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD based files for use in the creation contract documents.
Required Experience and Skills :
- Completion of technical school CAD design certificate with emphasis on Revit preferred
- Revit experience / skills required
- AutoCAD 2D skills desirable
- Basic understanding of process mechanical piping and chemical piping, and associated materials and fittings preferred for Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities
- Knowledge of Standard Drafting Procedures
- 3-5 years of CAD design / drafting experience
