POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs, interprets and evaluates routine and complex diagnostic procedures applying the principles, theories and techniques of Medical laboratory sciences.
EDUCATION / TRAINING :
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or medical laboratory science.
Associate's Degree from a college / university and successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLT program.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION :
Certification (Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Minimum : N / A
Preferred : One year healthcare or lab related work experience
