Description :
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, your role will involve helping patients achieve their treatment goals and participate in therapeutic activities.
This includes administering manual physical exercises, providing instruction and assistance with non-manual exercises and daily activities, as well as offering supportive care.
You will also assess evaluations and test results, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Providing follow-up visits to home health patients with orthopedic conditions
- Continuously meeting eligibility requirements for home health services
- Delivering maintenance therapy as needed
- Driving to various locations as required
Qualifications :
Successful completion of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants
Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health setting
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
