Description :
We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract to work in an Interventional Radiology (IR) setting. The role involves performing all adult IR procedures, including body, vascular, and neuro cases.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday, with the expectation to work past the scheduled shift if procedures extend beyond the day. Backup duty may be required once a week, where you stay until procedures are completed.
Additionally, every 5th or 6th Saturday (0800-1600) coverage is required.
Responsibilities :
- Titrating drips
- Performing central lines
- Assisting with CT-guided procedures and bone biopsies
- Monitoring patients with Philips equipment
Requirements :
- 2 years of critical care experience (ICU or ED background preferred)
- BCLS & ACLS certification required
- Ability to work independently
- First-time travelers welcome, IR experience not required
Daily Census :
Approximately 8 procedures per day per nurse.
