The Job :

As a Sr EHS Program and Data Analytics Manager you will be part of our EHS Global Center of Excellence team. You’ll get to :

  • Provide technical and implementation support for an EHS Data Management platform, including back-end workflow configuration.
  • Support our change management and implementation process as we move to a new system.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of our EHS tools, improvement plans, status reporting, and trend analysis, and recommend course corrections across SBD globally.
  • Ensure data aligns with global EHS strategy and that the tool is being used to it’s full capacity.
  • Identify EHS compliance risks for the enterprise through data analysis
  • Monitor the activities and processes to keep track of the health of our applications as they are being planned, developed, and released.
  • Ongoing management of third-party providers of products and services, including implementation, support, licensing, and maintenance.
  • Optimize methodology and policies for collecting, validating, and analyzing data.
  • Enable better operational integration by serving as an information conduit between EHS, ESG, IT, and Global Supply Chain, particularly between regions.
  • Analyze, trend, and manage EHS data as it relates to site and global performance against KPIs and other metrics
  • Develop and implement custom reports and dashboards (such as KPIs) using BI tools that meet the needs of our leadership and customers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with our programs.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of assigned programs, remain in compliance with applicable laws, and continue SBD’s progress towards world-class status and reducing our environmental impact, utilizing existing policy deployment framework, for all assigned EHS programs.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline OR Computer Science or related discipline (with experience in EHS).

Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience providing technical implementation and support in data management systems, analyzing data, managing metrics and KPI’s and working in a global diversified industrial company working on a global team.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and management systems required.
  • Strong understanding in data visualization and how to best graphically present results to multiple audiences. Business intelligence tool proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to manage various aspects of companywide initiatives, including schedule and cost tracking.
